My 10 Holiday Wishes for the Golden State Warriors

The Splash Brothers Becoming Unstoppable

Splash Brothers

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are the best backcourt in the NBA. Dubbed the “Splash Brothers” for their extraordinary backcourt shooting prowess, they have taking their games to soaring heights. I wish for them to become unstoppable with their scoring abilities and set another NBA record for combined threes in a season.

The Golden State Warriors win the rest of their home games/Pacific Division Champions

The Golden State Warriors are 10-1 at home, which is very impressive. They are playing so well at home, that I wish for them to win their next thirty home games that will have them 40-1 when the regular season concludes. The Golden State Warriors’ confidence would be high and their opposition will not feel certain to win a game at the Oracle Arena.

The Golden State Warriors have not won a division title since the 1976 NBA season. I wish for the Golden State Warriors to win the Pacific Division title this season. So far, they are the best team in their division and should not have any problems staying on top.

Andre Iguodala Wins Sixth Man of the Year Award

Andre Iguodala has been an offensive spark off the bench for the energetic Golden State Warriors. He is a valuable energizer for the second unit, and he can take the team to another gear during close games. I will give him the Sixth Man of the Year Award. Andre Iguodala can be that special scorer to help the Golden State Warriors win a championship.

Stephen Curry Wins Three-Point Shootout Contest

Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry set the NBA record for three-pointers made in the 2012-13 NBA season. To my assessment, Stephen Curry is the best shooter in the NBA so I will grant him the 2015 Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout trophy. He would be the first Golden State Warrior in franchise history to win the contest.

Klay Thompson Wins NBA All-Star Game MVP

Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson is a great young talent in the NBA that I enjoy watching. He is perhaps the best shooting guard in the National Basketball Association. I wish for Klay Thompson to win the NBA All-Star Game MVP. This will make him the third Golden State Warrior to win the trophy since Rick Barry won it in 1967.

Steve Kerr Wins Coach of the Year

Steve Kerr

Steve Kerr has the Golden State Warrior playing at a very high level, which is very entertaining to watch. The Golden State Warriors are rolling with a winning formula that has them standing on top of the Western Conference. I wish rookie head coach Steve Kerr the Coach of the Year. This will make him the third head coach in Golden State Warriors’ history to achieve the honor.

Western Conference Champions/2015 NBA Champions

NBA championship

The Golden State Warriors have not been Western Conference Champions since the 1975 NBA season. My wish is for them to beat the San Antonio Spurs in the 2015 Western Conference Finals to win their fourth Conference title.

My biggest wish for the Golden State Warriors would be for them to win their fourth NBA championship. Warriors fans have been waiting nearly four decades for their team to bring the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy back to the Oracle Arena.

Stephen Curry Wins NBA Finals MVP

Stephen Curry

My final Christmas wish is for Stephen Curry to be named NBA Finals MVP at the 2015 NBA Finals. To add an NBA championship and Finals MVP to his résumé, he would solidify his legacy as one of the greatest players in NBA history.

Well, that is my time as the NBA’s “Friendly Neighborhood” Santa Claus. I pray my awesome wishes bring the Golden State Warriors exciting things in the New Year. Good luck, Warriors! Your time is now!!!

Happy Holidays!
